MOONBATS IN TOWN
That’s right, folks! A collection of full-fledged, barking moonbats is coming to Racine on Thursday. Live and in person!
A local peace group is inviting the public to visit with the “Impeachment Bus” at North Beach, 5:15 pm, Thursday.
The bus and its veterans are probably most famous for having provided transportation for Cindy Sheehan last summer when she went to Crawford, Texas to confront President Bush, according to local activists.
The bus will be departing from Red Wing, Minn. and is planning stops in Middleton, Watertown, Glendale, Fox Point, Wauwatosa, South Milwaukee and Racine before continuing on to the east coast.
Activists with the Racine Coalition for Peace and Justice see the visit as a way to elevate community awareness about their impeachment initiative the president.
These people are idiots. Complete and total buffoons and morons. They act like impeachment is the same as recalling any other elected official. That a group of moonbats circulating petitions and putting referenda on ballots makes any difference.
Earth to moonbats: impeachment is not started by the people. It isn’t like recalling your alderman because you didn’t like the way he voted on something. A little civics lesson: it begins with the House Judiciary Committee and continues through the drafting articles of impeachment — much like having charges filed by the DA’s office — and if those articles are approved by the full House of Representatives, a trial to be held by the Senate.
You have absolutely nothing to do with it. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Nada. I swear these people have manure for brains.
And here is the dumbest one of them all. From the comments section of The Racine Report’s blog entry:
Another Reason To Impeach Bush wrote:
Here’s another reason to impeach Bush:U.S. data show one in eight Americans in poverty
… In all, some 37 million Americans lived below the poverty line, defined as having an annual income below around $10,000 for an individual or $20,000 for a family of four.
The last decline in poverty was in 2000, the final year of Bill Clinton’s presidency, when it fell to 11.3 percent.

Uh, it isn’t the President’s job — or any other elected official’s job for that matter — to guarantee that you don’t live in poverty. And it certainly isn’t an impeachable offense because some guy doesn’t have a job or isn’t making a truckload of money.
The U.S. Constitution says: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
None of which involves someone not having a job or being poor. The President isn’t our daddy, responsible for taking care of us.
This clown is no doubt a graduate of the wonderful gummint-run skool system here called Racine Unified. See what my taxes are wasted on.
As Bugs Bunny would say: “What a maroon!”

If they were signing petitions in favor of a Constitutional amendment to prevent gay marriage you’d be all a-gush with rapturous admiration, complete with sober and heartfelt reflections on how well it speaks of our democracy that people are so involved in a grass-roots way. But let them want to impeach the president and it’s fury, name-calling and personal insults.
Maybe they figure the congress impeaches, but hte congress represents them. Perhaps they intend to petition their representatives to impeach him. I don’t know.
Note: I’d like to see him impeached for illegal spying and/or outing a CIA agent. I don’t think the poverty thing is going to cut it.

Point 1: you cannot compare the process of impeachment to a Constitutional amendment. Or a referendum. Or any type of citizen initiated legislation. You are smarter than to go down that path. At least I would hope you are.
Point 2: all these idiots are trying to do is undo two elections that they couldn’t win. Nothing more. It’s pure Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Point 3: You cannot spy illegally on foreign terrorists. Save that for someone who doesn’t know any better.
Point 4: Not only was Valerie Plame not a cover CIA agent, her work status was revealed by Richard Armitage. You can’t “out” someone who is a policy analyst. It isn’t a covert position. EVEN I KNEW SHE WORKED THERE. Prosecutors knew that ahead of time and still went on a witchhunt. Armitage and Colin Powell deliberately withheld that information. Trying to ruin people’s reputation simply over policy disputes … Armitage is a pure piece of shit.
Save this stuff for someone who isn’t smart enough to know better.
