SENATOR ARRESTED, IN DISGRACE
Sen. Larry Craig has entered a guilty plea to disorderly conduct for an arrest in the men’s room at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

We blogged about an effort by homosexual activist/scumbag Mike Rogers of BlogActive to out Craig as a homosexual here. We still don’t approve of Rogers’s sleazy tactics. Rogers is still a scumbag.
However, Craig appears to be even more of a political liability to Senate Republicans, who have 21 seats up for re-election in 2008, as opposed to 12 for the Democrats.
If Craig cares about the future of his party, he should do the right thing and resign. Michelle Malkin, who calls Craig “a lying crapweasel,” has a collection of links and updates here. One of those interesting links is to the Idaho Statesman, which has been investigating allegations of lewd conduct by Sen. Craig going back to 1982. Craig has resigned from the presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.
