MORE BLOWBACK FROM THE CNN/YOUTUBE DEBATE
It just keeps getting worse and worse for the Clinton News Network after last night’s fiasco with now at least four Democrat plants disguised as “undecided” voters among the questioners of Republican presidential candidates.
The Politico weighs in here on the Shrillary plant, Keith Kerr, a retired general who came out of the closet and just happens to be the co-chairman of The Hildabeast’s National Veterans Group, asking a question about homosexuals being allowed to serve openly in the military.
Kerr told CNN that he had not done work for the Clinton campaign, and CNN verified before the debate that he had not contributed money to any candidate, the broadcaster said in a blog post after the debate.
Kerr told CNN he is a member of the Log Cabin Republicans and was representing no one other than himself, CNN said.
Now this should have been easily verifiable by any reputable news organization, but al-CNN chose not to do so.
Wait. It gets better. The Hildabeast’s campaign denied Kerr was connected with them in any way.
On Thursday, Clinton campaign spokesman Phil Singer said the retired general “is not a campaign employee and was not acting on behalf of the campaign.”
A Nov. 11 press release retrieved from the website of the nonpartisan magazine Campaigns & Elections lists Kerr as one of nearly 50 co-chairs of “Veterans and Military Retirees for Hillary.”

Over at PMSNBC, Joe Scarborough said there was no way al-CNN did not know that Kerr wasn’t a Clinton plant. Same with the plants representing Osama bin … Osama Obama … Obamamama and The Breck Girl.
[L]ast night, not only do they have this guy delivering a YouTube video, they also had him there sitting in the audience, they had a shot with him [more than a shot. Anderson Cooper asked whether he was satisifed with the answers he had received and grilled Romney over his answer. Kerr himself made an extended comment from the floor]. It’s Bill Bennett [who was a CNN post-debate panelist], it is up to Bill Bennett to explain to CNN, and don’t tell me that CNN didn’t know, that some people at CNN did not know, that he was part of the Clinton campaign. Don’t lie to me. Maybe Anderson Cooper didn’t know, but somebody at CNN that put this guy in the video knew that.
I’m not blaming Anderson Cooper. He can’t do everybody’s work for him. But it is total crap to suggest that nobody in CNN knew that this guy was from the Clinton steering committee, and that somehow Bill Bennett, a conservative that — let me tell you — does not check the Hillary Clinton gay and bisexual and transsexual Americans for Hillary Clinton steering committee list every morning. If he knows, don’t tell me that somebody at CNN doesn’t know, and don’t tell me that Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t know.
Yet the only one out front doing a mea culpa on behalf of al-CNN is Anderson Cooper.
Those who actually knew and thought this would be a great way to make the Republican candidates squirm and look uncomfortable have run for the tall grass.
And Allahpundit points out that the Hillary plant is still denying he’s a Hillary plant. And al-CNN gave him three more minutes of air time to make Shrillary’s case. If al-CNN had no advance inside knowledge of Kerr’s connection to The Hildabeast, then why did they fly him in for the debate?
By the way, Kerr was booed by the audience. They recognized a phony and a plant when they saw one.
A trip down Memory Lane, Bryan Preston from HotAir produced this nostalgic look at the Democrats; Las Vegas horticultural show, er, debate. One could easily mistake it for a gardening show, what with all the plants.
