Interesting column by the Journal Sentinel’s Art Kabelowsky on the Rennicke family of Mequon and the incredible bond of baseball and fastpitch.

If you like baseball, as I do, you’ll enjoy reading about this family and their list of accomplishments on ball diamonds dating back 50 years.

Interestingly, the baseball field in Mequon is named after Don Rennicke, the family patriarch. I could only wish to be so lucky to have a field named in my honor while still above ground if at all.
